Topsy Turvy Triangles Tote Bag, Tullahoma
Tote bag has a main compartment and several inside pockets. The main compartment is roomy and can accommodate a laptop or several books. Pocket dimensions can be sized to fit your needs (such as a cell phone, car keys, sunglasses, makeup, etc.). This tote bag is scrap friendly and would be a great way to use your stash. Please have homework done prior to class.

1 FQ for centers of large triangles (a solid works best)*
1/3 yd for top of purse handles
1/4 yd for bottom of purse
3/4 yd for lining
3/8 yd for inside pockets
30'' x WOF muslin For backing of quilted portion
1 large button (1 3/4'' - 2'')
3/4 yd piece of batting

Project requires Topsy Turvy Templates P1, may be purchased here, or in Threaded Needle store.
If you have not previously taken a TTT class or are unfamiliar with these templates please contact us in advance.
Homework
*use this fabric to make a panel of 8 Topsy Turvy Triangles (sewn together side by side) and bring them to class.

| Requirements: | In addition to the usual sewing supplies like a sewing machine, thread, extension cord, sharp scissors, rotary cutter, mat, and personal sewing items, you will also need a chalk pencil that contrasts with your fabrics, yardstick (or 18" - 36" straightedge), safety pins (for stabilization while machine quilting), and walking foot (if you have one for your machine). You may want to have an iron and ironing surface next to you. |
