Class Policies
We offer a wide array of classes and demos for all skill levels and topics. If you would like to attend one of our classes or demos, it is requested that you register as early as possible. This assists everyone in planning and ensures all necessary supplies, materials and seats are available for everyone. You may register here online or by phone with your credit card, or just stop by and see us, we'd love to help you.
Most classes require a sewing machine or serger in good working order. If you have not had your machine serviced in the past year or so, we recommend you bring it in for a service before the class. We have a limited number of machines available for classes if arrangements are made in advance. Please let us know when you register and we will have one set up for you.
You are required to bring your own basic supplies, such as: scissors, pen, paper, needles, pins, seam ripper, ruler and thread. Check the supply list for specific notions needed for each class. If you have the supplies at home, bring them. Your instructors insist on quality materials and many specific products to ensure good results. Exact materials requested will be in stock.
We all understand life gets in the way sometimes. Should you need to cancel we will issue a store credit up to one week prior to class convening. No credit will be issued one week prior or less. You may also give your class to a friend if you would like.
Everyone works at different speeds and has different knowledge levels. Some people may not finish the project in the allotted class time and that's ok, the knowledge gained is the more important than the finished project. Should you need additional assistance finishing your project, speak with one of our staff or attend an Open Sew session.
Please be considerate, leave your children at home and silence cell phones during class time. Thank you.
