Wedge, Table Runner or Placemat, Tullahoma
This is a one-block project made entirely of scraps. Wedges make a complex looking project, however, are quick and easy.
Placemat:
- 8 Foundation pieces (5'' square)*
- Strips (cut at various widths and lengths)**
- 1 FQ for wedges (a solid -or high contrast- works best)
- 2 2.5''x width of fabric strips (for border)
- 5'' Wedge Block P2 Template Set (may be purchased here)
Table Runner:
- 16 Foundation pieces (5'' square)*
- Strips (cut at various widths and lengths)**
- 1 FQ for wedges (a sloid -or high contrast- works best)
- 5'' Wedge Block P2 Template Set (may be purchased here)
*Foundation Pieces: 5'' squares (can be fabric, special foundation fabric, used drier sheets, etc.). You can use paper, however, the paper will have to be torn away prior to assembly. --Please cut before class--
**Strips: - Strips can be any length and cut anywhere between 1'' and 2'' wide.
Homework:
Cut 8 or 16 foundation pieces, depending on which project you want to do.
