Travel Essentials 2.0
This handy organizer is made for traveling.
Mesh and vinyl pockets give you visible storage. A deep zippered pocket on the bottom is great for holding larger items. Then, it all folds neatly to fit in your suitcase or duffle for easy travel.
Make the coordinating Hot Tool Sleeve for carrying your flat iron or curling iron with an outer pocket for the cord.
Materials
For essentials case: Travel Essentials 2.0 Pattern by Annie
1 yd. main fabric,
1 yd. lining fabric
3/4 yd. coordinating fabric
18" x 58" piece of foam interfacing such as "Soft and Stable"
1/3 yd. fusible interfacing such as "Shape Flex"
5" x 13" piece mesh fabric
8" x 12" piece vinyl
3 yd. 1" polypro strapping (I used 7/8" cotton)
4- 1" D rings
3-1" swivel hooks (I used 3/4")
1- 1" slider
thread to match fabrics
handbag zippers ( You will need a minimum of 81" zipper tape and 5 pulls to make zippers for pockets OR 1- 24" single-slide zipper and 2-30" double slide zippers.)
